I went back to this post to reset based on recent events that have influenced my perspective and given me a new desire to start writing. I retired 6/17/22 and have always talked about writing something. I have experimented over the years and tried various software. My initial attempt was with Ulysses but I was was not completely satisfied so I moved on to Scrivener for writing and adopted WordPress to start posting,

Prior to retiring, I had joined a Writer’s group in Fall 2021 which became a reality in January 2022. Given ‘Covid’, initial meetings were zoom sessions. At the end of those sessions, we decided to continue with a meeting set for the fourth Thursday in September. I had some initial success but when I attempted to write more than a paragraph or two, I was experiencing writer’s block so I opted our of the group for the time being.
